Brand new to the athletic program in 2007, the Immaculata golf team showed steady improvement throughout the season. Last year’s squad consisted of two seniors, two juniors and three freshmen. For many of them, it was their first time swinging a golf club. The season opened with a non-league match against Williamsville. Despite their lack of experience, the girls kept matches close, and narrowed the margin of victory all season. Seniors Caroline and Erin improved their games and lead their team in the All-Catholic match in September. Juniors Lynn and Megan will be a great asset to have back next season, along with freshman Chelsea, Erin and Alyssa. The program looks to grow next year and looks forward to a strong second season!
