Junior Varsity Bowling Highlights 2004-05 2006-07 2007-08 The junior varsity bowling team consisted of one returning player and five newcomers. The Bears struggled early, winning only one of their first eight games. Led by Candace and her top junior varsity league average, the JV team went on to win 30 of the next 40 games and battle four other teams in a tightly contested race for first place. No other team in the league improved their individual and team averages as much as these young ladies did this season. The team recorded the second highest series (1492), seven pins short of first. Unfortunately, the team ran out of time overcoming the slow start, finishing four games out of first place (35-21). |
